| It gets hot when the sun hits the palm in the morning so she hangs way out to cool off-she seems to like me taking her picture |

| Mama flew out from her nest and rested in a palm this morning. Within seconds a mocking bird swoomed down and screamed in her face. Immediately a male cardinal joined in the screaming letting her know she better stay clear of their nests. Since she really is not much bigger than them she really had no interest in their families-she loves to eat tree frogs. She was so cute and after a surprise look, just kept batting her eyes at them. They left her alone when I appeared to stop the racket! |
